Hi guys!
As you know, I LOVE cafes – especially when they offer great coffee and desserts – even better when it comes in that aesthetically pleasing look.
Seoul is well known for its aesthetic and “Instagram worthy” cafes, so here is Part II of my cafe hunting. You can read Part I here.
#1 Zapangi Cafe
If you’re searching for nice cafes on Instagram, you probably came across Zapangi Cafe at one point. It’s quite famous for the entrance door, that looks like an automat.
The interior is perfect for taking that “Instagram-shot” – the main colors are white, pink and green. Neon signs on the wall give it a retro looking vibe. I got the rose milk tea and the mermaid cupcake (caution: you can’t eat the mermaid tail!).
The rose milk tea was very delicious; the cupcake was a little bit too sugary for my taste. Also it was quite pricey with 8.000Won per item (around 6 Euro) – nonetheless a nice experience to go there!
Adress: Seoul, Mapo-gu, World Cup-ro 13-gil, 79 해오름 주상복합 1층
Opening Times: Everyday from 11am – 11pm
Tipp: You can find a Vlog of me visiting the cafe on Youtube here.
#2 Rachel’s Kitchen
A true gem, that I found by accident while strolling around Hongdae is Rachel’s Kitchen. It’s a cafe in a side street, but I came here a couple of times now cause I couldn’t forget about that interior design and the delicious food!
They offer multiple desserts like fluffy pancakes (super yummy!) and various drinks. They also change the menu depending on the season – I also got a Sakura Latte themed drink there during spring.
Adress: Seoul, Mapo-gu, Seogyo-dong, 번지 1호 333-6 2층
Opening Times: Everyday 12am – 10pm
#3 Billy Angel Cake Company
Another café that I laid my eyes on for a while is Billy Angel Cake Company. It’s actually a café chain in Korea and very popular among coffee lovers. There are literally plenty of branches of it – sometimes even every few meters down the street (e.g. in Gangnam!).
They have a super nice selection of great cake – I got the carrot cake when I visited the cafe. A piece of cake is around 5.000-6.000 Won (4-5 Euro). But it was one of the best cakes I’ve had in Seoul so far!
Adress: 619-15 Yeoksam 1(il)-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (the store I went to)
Tipp: You can find a Vlog on Youtube of me visiting the café here.
There are plenty of cafés that I still want to visit! Which one is on your bucket list? Let me know in the comments❤
