I’ve wanted to share some cute cafes with you, that I’ve visited during my travels to Seoul. There are a lot – and I mean a BUNCH – of aesthetically pleasing cafes, so it’s quite hard to choose one.

#1 RYAN Cafe – Kakao Talk Store Hongdae

 

This super cute franchise cafe is based on the top floor of the Kakao Talk Flagship-Store in Hongdae. I’ve visited it 2016 before and back then it was located inside the store in Gangnam – so maybe its location changes from time to time.

The interior is nothing special, but the drinks, cakes and cupcakes are for sure! You can get cute looking food in the typical Kakao character’s design – e.g. as Ryan or Apeach. If you’re a fan of the Kakao Talk franchise, you’ll love this cafe for sure!

#2 Style Nanda Pink Pool Cafe & Style Nanda Pink Hotel

Other really cute franchise cafes are located inside the Style Nanda Flagship Stores in Myeongdong and Hongdae. Style Nanda is a brand from Korea, which is popular amongst fashion-lovers. The concepts of the stores are always very unique.

The store in Myeongdong for example is designed as a hotel and the store in Hongdae has got a pool inside. Yes, a real pool (just for the aesthetics of course!). You can easily spend a few hours here and enjoy the atmosphere.

The drinks and cakes are quite pricey, but if you want to take unique Instagram pictures with a certain aesthetic, this is the place to go!

#3 Innisfree Green Cafe in Myeongdong

Have you ever heard of the Innisfree Green Cafe? No? Well, then it’s time to check it out!

This cafe is based on the top floor above the Innisfree Flagship Store in Myeongdong. Innisfree is one of my favorite K-Beauty brands ever and its brand image is very connected to nature. When you go upstairs, you’ll find a cafe filled with (real) plants and bird sounds playing in the background, which fits the brand image perfectly. It also gives you a nice view of the main street in Myeongdong – so great to chill at and do some good old “people watching” while drinking your iced americano after shopping.

They also have seasonal specials for example different kind of desserts, drinks or cakes during sakura time. Definitely recommended!
