Hi guys! Today I want to share my skincare tipps with you, if you have troubled skin or tend to have blemishes! I’m continually using these products as soon as my skin has breakouts or any kind of redness.
Please be aware that this isn’t a whole routine, these are all products that I use separately when I need them!
#1 Cleanser
As a cleanser I still use my beloved Innisfree Volcanic Pore Cleanser. If you’re following me for a while, you know that this is one of my holy grails when it comes to cleansers! Form a desired amount of cleanser and rub it in your wet hands, then gently massage it onto your skin and wash it off with warm water. Because it also has a lot of nutrition, it won’t dry out your skin, but gets rid of dirt and clogged pores at the same time.
#2 Toner
When I have large pores, redness or any kind of blemishes that I want to get rid of, I always get back to the Etude House Wonder Pore Fresher.
It was one of the first K-Beauty items that I’ve ever tried a few years ago and I still re-buy it if my skin is in a bad condition. It doesn’t have a specific scent and can be used by any skin types. Pour something of the product onto a cotton pad and gently pad it on to your skin!
#3 Nose strips
Another tipp if you’re having any problems with whiteheads or blackheads on your nose, are nose strips! I’ve used a few brands in the past, but I think that the ones from the Japanese brand Biore perform the best! Wet your nose with a bit of warm water, put the stripe on, let it dry and pull it off after 15 minutes. Tadaa – no more blackheads in sight!
#4 Sheetmasks
Let me tell you – sheetmasks are the way to go! If you’re having blemishes, redness, acne or breakouts – these are the ones that work the best in my opinion.
Basically sheet masks infused with centella, tea tree, artemisia or madecassoside help to balance out redness and calm your skin! Also green tea is a nice ingredient if you want to get rid of redness!
Especially sheet masks by Innisfree, Etude House and Benton are very nice, because they’re quite thin and perform just great! Put it on and leave it on at least for 15 minutes (sometimes I just let the mask on until it’s dried out, haha).
#5 Pimple Patches
Another tipp for you are pimple patches! They work wonders, if you’re having pimples that won’t go away, this is the way to go! It won’t work for pimples that aren’t “fully” there yet – if you know what I mean.
Put them on these nasty pimples that are already popped and won’t heal – the best before going go bet, so the product can soak in all the dirt over night. Just pull them off the next morning and throw them away! I don’t use a specific brand, but the ones from CosRx are really good.
#6 Drying Lotion
My last tipp to get rid of pimples is a good drying lotion. Here I can recommend the Mizon – Acne Blemish Out Pink Spot. Don’t shake the product, the pink sand has to sink down to the bottom of the container.
Put an amount of the pink sand on a Q-tip and put it onto a pimple (only the ones that aren’t open, e.g. a bump) and let it dry over night. Wash it off with a cleanser the next morning. If you continue to do this every night, the pimple will go away before it fully breaks out.
