Out with the old, in with the new! I’m not only about testing new things and trying different brands, but also finishing up products, because in the end they’re there for a reason – to be used and not for standing around in my bathroom.

This month i used up these gems – the Wonder Pore Freshner Toner by Etude House, the Snail White Essential Toner by Namu Life, the Clinique ‘Take the Day Off’ Balm and the NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown.

 

Let’s start with my thoughts on the Wonder Pore Toner: It’s a true bestseller by the Korean Brand Etude House and is known for its 10 in 1 solution. I got this 500 ml Version in my holiday last year in Seoul and it took me around 4 months to completely use this bottle up! And i’m using a lot of toner – always in the morning and evening, so it’s an investition if you buy a huge bottle like that, haha.

It doesn’t has a true scent and it’s clear. I personally used this toner a lot more often when i had breakouts, because i think it performs the best on acne prone skin. In comparism with other toners it’s a little bit more harsh and doesn’t feel so hydrating. Because my skin is quite clear at this moment, i wouldn’t buy it again – maybe when it feels like breaking out again.

Next one is the Snail White Essential Toner by Namu Life. It’s a well known product from Thailand (where i also got it on my holiday there in April). It’s alcohol free and more of a moisturizing toner. It doesn’t have a scent as well and is also clear, but the formula reminds me a bit of a Snail Essence. This toner is very hydrating, that’s why i really loved to use it when my skin got clear again and needed that moisture! I would definately buy it again, but unfortunately i haven’t seen the brand Namu Life anywhere around but in Thailand.

I also used up the Clinique ‘Take the Day Off’ Balm (125ml), which i used pretty much every evening to take my makeup off with. You basically put it on your face, rub it around and it will melt your makeup. Then you wash it off with water. Sometimes you have to go over your lashes again with a makeup wipe, but all in all i really like how this products performs! I already bought my second bottle, which says a lot.

Last but not least is the NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown. Not gonna lie – i already re-bought this thing around 4-5 times and never got disappointed. It comes with a little brush on the one side and the pencil on the other. If you want to fill in your eyebrows precisely, this is a nice product to work with! In my opinion it’s a cheaper version of the ABH Brow Wiz, but performs almost the same! So if you want to have fleeky brows, but don’t want to invest a lot of money, NYX is where to look at!
